The 领导 生活 学习 Community is a space for involved students to find their place on campus, connect new students with growth opportunities, and put leadership ideas into practice. Whether you’re a seasoned leader or just starting to get involved, the 领导公司 is open to you!
The 领导公司 is a great opportunity to strengthen minds of young leaders for the future. 作为会员, I learned different styles of leadership, got connected with leadership opportunities, 很好, respectful conversations with my peers about various situations in society. I think joining the 领导公司 will prove to be one of the best decisions I ever made!
节目+活动
The 领导公司 focuses on developing a sense of community while engaging in opportunities to learn and practice leadership. Students can expect to participate in group dinners, 游戏之夜, leadership movie nights, 演讲嘉宾, 还有更多. 另外, 领导公司 students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular leadership programming like the 领导 Seminar Series, 大厅委员会, 学生参议院, the Alternative Spring Break/Alternative Winter Break immersion programs, or organization involvement. Opportunities to fulfill service learning are also available to LLC participants.
生活
The 领导公司 is located in 橡树岭礼堂 在上校区. The community will meet regularly and engage in leadership programming inside the hall.
学习
The course attached to the 领导公司 is IDIS 190: 领导 for a Better World. This course examines the Social Change Model and how it can be applied to everyday examples. Through open dialogue, 集体活动, individual reflections and real-world application, students will see themselves as change agents equipped with the skills necessary for Social Change leadership.
The 领导公司 gave me tools to think for myself, connect with others, and grow comfortable speaking. It kickstarted my social life in the dorms and brought me closer to people on-campus through fun events and conversations!

The 领导公司 is supported by two RAs who are experienced leaders on campus in a variety of organizations and roles. It is also supported by 凯蒂·兰德, the program advisor and course instructor.

Who can participate?
Participants are first-year students that are interested in building a community and exploring leadership development.
How do I join the 领导公司?
应用 to join a 生活 学习 Community through your 房地产门户网站. On the LLC page, indicate which of the communities you prefer.
专业技巧! If you are in a roommate group, make sure your roommate(s) indicate the same LLC preferences on their housing application. Otherwise, you will not be placed in the LLC.
